The Brown Agency was originally re-launched when Wilhelmina Austin acquired Heyman Talent. The result was The Brown Agency. The joining of two of the biggest talent agencies in the region gave The Brown Agency unique capabilities and strengths and made them the first agency in Austin that was full service and one of very few anywhere in Texas.

Wilhelmina Austin officially launched The Brown Agency in 2010 with Justin Brown as the head. In just three years Heyman Talent-South has built an agency for acting talent that has become one of the most respected in Austin. The combination the two companies have provided has enabled the launch of a company capable of providing a broader portfolio, experienced talent and opportunities all over the country.

The Brown Agency has their headquarters in Austin with additional offices in Dallas and a Los Angeles presence. Justin Brown was the former head of Wilhelmina Austin and now leads The Brown Agency as their President and CEO. Michael B. Bonnée, the founder of Heyman Talent-South is lending his expertise to the Brown Agency’s theatrical division. Justin Brown feels becoming a full service agency through the merger with Heyman Talent-South is a critical aspect of their strategy for growth and their commitment to provide their clients and talent with the best possible services.
