Vijay Eswaran is a leading businessman that has had success in network marketing. He is the executive chairman of QI Group. Vijay Eswaran founded the company after leaving corporate America and returning to Asia. His firm offers its broad client base with innovative solutions in different sectors, including direct selling, hospitality, education, retail, and financial industry.
In 1998, the Malaysian businessman established QNET, which is QI’s flagship subsidiary. This international company has opened offices in different locations, including UAE.
QNET combines an e-commerce model with traditional methods of sales. Eswaran notes that he envisioned a new type of firm that would combine the power of people and create a direct sales force that would have a global reach.
Eswaran points out that when he began his entrepreneurial career, several things were not in his favor. At the time, Eswaran had no connections, he could not receive funding from anyone, and Asia was facing an economic crisis.
No one had faith that he would succeed. The only thing that motivated him is his strong conviction that he would waste his time generating money for someone else. Before long, Vijay found partners that shared his vision. Together they faced numerous setbacks. Eswaran notes that when he stops facing setbacks, he will not be able to progress.
